Aureos are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to support the energy division. This position will be based from our Crewe office 5 days per week.
Key responsibilities;
- Prepare monthly management accounts for two business units
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Prepare journal entries for month-end and year-end
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all actions are clearly documented
- Assist with year-end audit deliverables including preparation of year-end schedules and completion of audit testing
- Cash forecasting
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Fixed assets
- Providing overhead variance analysis
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Work closely with the commercial team and wider stakeholders
- Monthly expenses review/ payment preparation
The ideal candidate will be part qualified – working towards CIMA/ACCA to which we will continue to give study support provided and also be proficient in excel.
