Aureos delivers the infrastructure that powers the UK's energy systems and keeps its transportation networks moving. Operating across the UK and Ireland, we work on some of the nation's most important energy and transportation projects, helping clients design, build, maintain and upgrade essential infrastructure.
Our work spans renewable energy, power networks, railways, highways and other critical assets. Supporting clients from early-stage design and engineering through to construction, maintenance and emergency response, we combine practical expertise with innovative thinking to deliver infrastructure that is safe, reliable and built to last.
Our story began in 2009 when Keltbray acquired Gamble Rail, creating the foundations of what would become Keltbray Infrastructure Services. Over the next 15 years, the business expanded across rail, highways and energy, building long-standing relationships with many of the UK's leading infrastructure owners and operators.
As the UK's focus on energy security, decarbonisation and modern transport networks accelerated, so did the business. Aureos has played a key role in supporting the infrastructure needed to connect communities, strengthen the economy and support the transition to a lower-carbon future.
In August 2024, Keltbray Infrastructure Services was acquired by EMK Capital, marking the start of a new chapter. Following engagement with employees and customers, the business was renamed Aureos. Derived from Aurora and Eos, and meaning ‘a new dawn’, the name reflects both our heritage and our ambition to help shape the future of infrastructure.
Since then, Aureos has continued to grow through investment, strategic acquisitions and organic expansion, including the addition of GA Construction, EnergyLine and AS Design, alongside the acquisition of assets from Enerveo in 2025.
Today, Aureos brings together decades of experience, engineering expertise and a commitment to innovation and sustainability to deliver the energy and transportation infrastructure that modern society depends on.
