Aureos Delivering Key Road Upgrades Across Liverpool

Aureos is delivering major improvements on two key Liverpool routes, Speke Hall Road and Queens Drive, helping to improve the reliability, safety and resilience of the city's transport network.
The schemes form part of the Liverpool City Region Key Route Network Levelling Up Programme, which aims to enhance some of the region's busiest and most important road links.
On Speke Hall Road, a vital route connecting Hunts Cross, Speke Boulevard, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and key employment areas, Aureos is carrying out a range of upgrades including carriageway resurfacing, footway and paved area improvements, drainage enhancements, traffic signal upgrades and the installation of new street lighting.
Aureos is also delivering improvements on Queens Drive (A5058), one of Liverpool's main strategic routes. Works include carriageway resurfacing, pavement improvements, drainage upgrades and enhancements to pedestrian crossing points between Dovedale Road and Mossley Hill Drive.
Together, these projects will create safer, smoother and more reliable journeys for residents, businesses and visitors, while supporting Liverpool City Council's ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving its highway network for all users.
