Aureos has been named as one of Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) Distribution's framework partners for its programme to renew and strengthen overhead electricity networks across the north of Scotland.
The award marks an important milestone for Aureos and reflects the strong relationship, expertise and delivery performance the business has built with SSEN Distribution over more than a decade across the Highlands and Islands.
Under the initial five-year framework, Aureos will continue supporting essential work to reinforce, renew and improve the resilience of the overhead network serving communities across the Highlands, Skye, the Western Isles, Orkney and now Shetland.
The framework also provides long-term certainty for local jobs, enabling Aureos to continue investing in local people, skills and supply chains. As electricity demand grows and the UK continues its transition to cleaner power, the company remains committed to recruiting and training locally wherever possible, helping to develop skilled careers while supporting the infrastructure communities rely on every day.
The award builds on Aureos' successful track record of delivery with SSEN Distribution over the last decade and highlights the commitment, capability and care demonstrated by teams across the business.
